One of the most culturally diverse neighborhoods in Washington DC, Adams Morgan is the center of both the Hispanic and the Hipster populations of the city. The several blocks starting at 18th Street and Columbia Road NW and heading south down 18th boast some of the most ethnically diverse and energetic restaurants and bars. It’s a cool area of town, literally, as it is higher in elevation than most of DC, which gives it a nice breeze and a couple degrees lower on the thermometer during the hot Summer months.
