The United States Capitol Building is the most architecturally impressive building in all of Washington DC, housing both the Senate and the House of Representatives. Atop the massive dome sits the Statue of Freedom. The Capitol is where bills first enter the gauntlet of debate and attempt to climb the legislative mountain on their way to becoming law.
